What is it for? After a surgery, the lymphatic canals, which are responsible for the drainage of the lymph node, are damaged and get better very slowly. Lymphatic Drainage helps in the drainage of bodily toxins, diminishing swelling and seromas (accumulation of liquid at the site) and the undesirable nodules, which can form after a liposuction.
How is it done? With massages, over the whole area, and at specific points, which can activate the lymphatic ganglion and take the lymph to them, making the drainage of the lymph easier.
When is it recommended? For all surgeries, but particularly in liposuctions, tummy-tucks, male breast surgeries, breast reductions, breast augmentation and lifting.
When can it be started? The follow-ups after the surgery will enable us to tell when the patient should start, it could be as little as 5 or 10 days after the surgery.
How many sessions should I have? Around 10 sessions.
Can it be done at home? Yes, our professionals also can go to your home, where you can be treated in familiar surroundings.
Who will realize the treatment? We have a great team of physiotherapy and beauty technicians ready to treat you, whom I maintain informed about your case.
Will I loose weight? The treatment doesn’t eliminate fat, but water, and therefore generally there is a reduction in measurements. |
