| Girdles |

We use many different types of girdles and the moment that you book the surgery, we will tell you the type and size that you need. The girdle will be left in the operating theatre and you will leave hospital using it. We recommend that you buy two girdles because when you wash one you will have another ready to wear.
The girdle or bra should be used after:
. liposuction
. tummy tuck
. breast reduction or augmentation
. male breast surgery
For how long should it be used?
30 days, continuously, only taking it off to bathe.
What is it used for?
The girdles’ compression doesn’t permit the swelling to increase and allows the skin to breathe.
Should I tighten it?
After the first sessions of lymphatic drainage you will notice that the swelling disappears more quickly, and when you see that the girdle has loosened you should tighten it.
Does it leave marks on the body?
Generally it does, but we have a special foam filling for this. It is usually used under the girdle and helps the girdle stop putting too much pressure on certain areas, such as; the waistline and tummy button, helping to avoid the appearance of fibroids
